Free search engine finds 10 000 lathes for users in first month

Machine tool dealers Macrotec’s new Findamachine site has connected over 10,000 potential buyers with grateful dealers since launching a new service in May. The newly updated site at findamachine. com offers users the opportunity to search for new or used lathes currently listed on over 1000 stock lists on the internet. The simple search system allows users to search on any field from a database of over 2500 new and used lathes and click directly through to the seller.

“We opened up the service free to anyone without requiring registration and suddenly the flood gates opened “ said Richard Moss, Chief Developer of Findamachine. com. “It’s the only site that is updated daily automatically, so users know it’s up to date.”

Macrotec Machine Tools Ltd have been developing their Findamachine site for some years now and have added 4500 lathe specifications to an extensive machine tool directory to provide a valuable and user friendly tool for engineers all over the world. The list of lathes for sale is updated daily and includes machine tool dealers and auctioneers sites.

“We’ve cut out the middleman and allow potential buyers to click straight through to seller’s websites. We take no part in the sales process and charge no commission for sales. We are financing the site from advertising revenues,” says Stuart Moss Managing director of Findamachine. “From the feedback we are getting it’s definitely the way forward for the market. Machine tool buyers love Findamachine because it saves them so much time trawling the dealers’ sites on the internet. It was the time it took us searching the web for a lathe with a specific dimension for one of our customers that gave us the idea for the Findamachine project 3 years ago. Because we are engineers ourselves we’ve worked hard to make the search as simple and comprehensive as possible and we are continually building our database of specifications and machine tool dealers.”

Body kits to customize your car

For some people, customizing their cars is one of the best ways to make their vehicle look and stand out from the rest of the machines out in the highway as well as in the parking lot. After all, in this world where everything seems to be mass produced, it would be best to make the difference yourself.

Body kits are considered as one of the ways of making your vehicle to look different and unique as well. With body kits, you can choose what to do with your vehicle’s design, as well as do the creating yourself. In essence, a body kit is actually a collection of exterior modifications for a car. The common parts that make up these kits include front bumpers, rear bumpers, side skirts, and spoilers although there are other body kits that add other parts as well. Aside from giving your vehicle a complete and new look, body kits also give your car better aerodynamics.

There are some body kits that are made up of fiberglass. Although some body kits are made from polyurethane. For most car owners, polyurethane is their top choice for it is resistant to damage and come the cold months, this type of material does not crack, however, once it is damaged, it cannot be repaired. On the other hand, fiberglass body kits actually fit cars better and can be repaired if it is damaged.

Buying a body kit for your vehicle is easy. You would have first need to decide as per what kind of material you would like your vehicle to hold. As mentioned, your choices would include fiberglass or urethane. Knowing what kind of material you would like your car to have for its body kit would give you a much narrower range of kits to select from. If you have no idea as per what kind of body kit you would like to have, you can get ideas by visiting auto parts dealers or you can also browse through the Internet.

Once you have already chosen what kind of kit to purchase, call the manufacturer which produces the kit. Ask about warranty. Also, ask for pertinent information like the installation process, how much is the price, and the advantages of purchasing such a body kit. Automobile experts suggest that you should not buy a body kit if it actually asks you to remove some factory pieces on your vehicle so you could install it.

Auto Parts Discount offers bumpers, spoilers, and other body kits. They also have a vast array of well-crafted Daewoo parts for customers to choose from. You can get ideas from this store on what types of auto parts you would like your vehicle to receive.

Online privacy and security

The right to privacy is a serious issue for all online. No formal law exists within cyberspace, and Internet users can find recourse only through the applicable laws of their own government. It is your responsibility to ensure the privacy of your web site visitors. You have to create a transactional or interactive environment that protects the privacy of your customers.

Many people fail to become online consumers because they fear their personal information could be misused or compromised. Identity theft, credit card fraud, breach of personal information are among the more common consumer concerns. According to Marc Rotenberg, Executive Director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center in Washington, DC, “The absence of consumer privacy protection may in fact be the number one obstacle to the growth of e-commerce.”

Privacy is one of the leading issues facing the future success of e-commerce. One of your most important tasks as an online business is to establish trusting relationships with your web site visitors. Be sure to prominently display a privacy policy on your site that details how customer information is collected, used, and protected.

Learn from the pros, if you are unsure about what your privacy statement should look like. There are many highly successful online businesses you can learn from. Don’t copy their privacy statements, but use them as learning tools. If there is an industry leader in your field, study their web site. There is nothing wrong with a little bit of competitive intelligence.

As you study privacy policies look for common trends. Take notes, and make an outline. Ask questions as you are writing your outline. What does their privacy statement include? Where is the privacy statement located? Is it easy to find? Using the intelligence you have gathered during your research process, write your own privacy statement.

The body of your privacy policy should have several components such as, how common the collected user information is protected, the security measures you take to protect the information, if you share that information with a third party. Also include privacy information specific to your field. For example, if you're collecting customer e-mail addresses be specific about how you plan to use them.

Always include the company contact information in your privacy policy so that customers can contact you in case they have any questions. Make sure that a link to your privacy policy is clearly visible on your website. At the very least, you should have a link to the privacy policy from your homepage but it doesn't hurt to have a link to it from all web pages.

Say your own personalized wedding vows

This article was written to answer many of the most frequently asked questions on wedding vows.

Your wedding is your own.

And in todays society, people have been constantly scouring every book for any way to make their wedding as personal and as unique as possible.

One way to do this is to whip up your own wedding vows.

Traditionally, couples to be wed do not have much of a say in what goes into many of the words spoken during the wedding ceremony. Today, it is increasingly getting easier to personalize and influence what is said during the ceremony within reasonable bounds, though.

If you desire to make your wedding vows unique and personal, you are not alone. Many other couples incorporate feelings, and intimate messages into their wedding vows. It has an added effect of making your wedding more touching, dramatic, and memorable.

Talk with the Officiant Ahead of Time

If you would like to personalize your wedding vows, first notify your Officiant to find out the legalities, guidelines and rules in drafting your own wedding vows. He or she will typically give pointers and examples to help you draw up your own vows. Furthermore, the Officiant will inform you of the parts of the vow that are expected to be said.

The Topic

It may include promises, such as “I will swear upon my life to do …” or it may be heartfelt messages for each other, or even hopes for each other plans for the future and such. You may also opt to create a mixture of each to spice up your wedding vows. Although norms vary from culture to culture, as a general rule, the wedding vow should not take too long to recite. Keep it concise yet meaningful. Remember, you will have to recite this, and long recitations tend to make the memory suffer.

Make it Official

After creating a draft of the vows you wish to exchange, it would do well to meet up with the Officiant again and show him a draft of your vows. Although in the end, it is ultimately your decision that is followed, do take heed of the Officiants advice, as it is usually sound and has been honed by experience.

Practice

It is a good idea to practice your vows before the wedding. Although there is no rule against reading vows, a thoroughly practiced, heartfelt rendition of the vow will definitely make a lasting impact on your partner and the people witnessing the ceremony. As mentioned earlier, avoid overly long vows as they tend to be less remembered and are harder to memorize, not to mention quite inconvenient to others. You may do so, however, if you feel the need is justified.

The Performance

When reciting your vows during the wedding, always keep calm. People who are tense tend to speak to fast, and since the wedding vow is a very important part of the wedding, you will want to take your time in the spotlight. Loosen up, so that in case you forget a line or two during the exchange of vows, you will at least be able to bounce back with something from your heart. If you desire so, you may also keep a written version of you vows with you. You might want to read it surreptitiously though.

Good luck on your wedding, and may the sweet words you utter during the exchange of vows never lose their meaning for rest of your days!

Fluid pneumonia

Pneumonia, is when the lungs fill with fuild, and in turn prevent oxygen from reaching the bloodstream. This is a medical condition that can have result from severl diseases where the tiny, air-filled saces in the lung, which are responsible for absorbing oxygen from the air, are filled with fluid. Many different types of pneumonia exist. The most commony types are results of a bacterial infection of the lung. Several other things can cause pneumonia, such as viruses, fungi, and parasites. Another type of pneumonia occurs as a result of chemical or physical irritation to the lungs.

A common sickness, pneumonia, occurs basically evenly among all age groups. Caused by infection in most cases, pneumonia, will often cause difficulty breathing, coughs, fevers, and chest pains. Antibiotic Medication is normally used to treat pneumonia when it has been caused by an infection.

Victims of pneumonia will often have a cough that produces green/yellow sputum. This is one of the leading symptoms of pneumonia as well as a high fever followed by shaking chills. Pneumonia is usually diagnosed by health care providers observations on a patient's symptoms and discoveries from various physical examinations. Pneumonia diagnoses can be difficult for some people. This is especially true for those who have other illnesses at the time of examination. Often times physical examination by a health provider may reveal low amount of oxygen in the blood, low blood pressure, an increased respiratory rate, low body temperature, a fast heart rate, or a fever.

Baby boomer issues health money and retirement

As the Baby Boomer generation continues to grow older, their primary concerns have shifted to their health, money and retirement. The days of idly wondering where their next vacation should be and whether their bonus check will be as much as they deserve are quietly passing. Today, Baby Boomer issues are mostly about concerns with maintaining their dwindling health and having enough money to live comfortably through their twilight years.

Health Concerns For Baby Boomers

As people grow older, they often experience problems with their health. Their bodies grow more fragile and susceptible to diseases and bacteria. In addition, many people 50 years of age and older are reporting health problems that were not experienced by people in their same age group long ago.

This problem is exacerbated by rising health care costs. As the Boomer generation begins to require more medical care, the cost of that medical care continues to increase. Health issues and their ability to cope with them and find the proper medical support is a major concern for Baby Boomers.

Money And Retirement Concerns For Baby Boomers

Along with rising health care costs, Baby Boomers also worry about money and retirement. During the last several years of their careers before retiring, people usually enjoy salaries and bonuses that are larger than at any other point in their career. As a result, money is rarely a major concern.

However, many people fail to save that money. Instead, they spend it on vacations, their families and in the pursuit of living fun and fulfilling lives. This can lead to a rude awakening when they retire. Because they have not saved much money during their career, a lot of people discover that they do not have enough money to live comfortably during their retirement years.

When they retire, they no longer earn a salary. They no longer receive bonus checks. Instead, they are forced to live off the income that can be generated by the investments they have made throughout their lives. Unfortunately, many have not invested any money that can generate this income.

Other Baby Boomer issues complicate this money problem. People live longer lives today. When a Baby Boomer retires, he can expect to live many years in retirement. In the past, a 65-year old man could expect to live approximately 10 years in retirement before passing away. The financial requirements of living comfortably for these 10 years were manageable for most people.

Today, financial planners use a life expectancy of 90 to 95 years. That is, when a person retires at 65 years of age, he can expect to live up to 30 years in retirement. With dwindling health, rising health care costs and a lack of savings to generate a fixed income, the financial requirements of living 30 years in retirement are out of reach for many people.

These health, money and retirement concerns will grow as more of the Baby Boomer generation moves into retirement. Some will choose to work part-time jobs to keep active, stay healthy and generate supplemental income. Others will require the aid of family and friends. Still others may require more help than is available to them. As the Baby Boomer issues are beginning to emerge the Boomers will experience the issues that have been quietly gaining momentum for years, their health, money and retirement concerns will continue to grow.

Selecting the right diamond anniversary or bride to be advice

Your "special day" is swiftly approaching. You are ready to ask the big question. Or, you just love her enough to want to give her a gorgeous diamond to showcase that love. In any of these cases, the most substantial thing for you to do is to choose just the right diamond.

Not all have the same worth and they are not all appropriate. And, depending on your funds as well as her tastes, you need to know where to look to find just the ideal diamond too.

I Cant Do This

If you feel like this is one of the most difficult decisions of your life that is because it is! What you give her is going to show her just how much you love her and how much you want to showcase that love.

If you give her a ring that she isnt going to like, nothing is going to be achieved. If you give her something too over the top and not right for her style, shell feel weird wearing it.

In order to identify the right diamond for your loved one, here are some tips that you need to know.

Know What Shes Going To Love. Not sure what she will like? Just look at the diamonds that she may be wearing now. Or, allow her to pick out a smaller piece, such as a necklace or something similar as a gift. This is the perfect time for you to notice what type of diamond she loves. A little research in the jewelry box wont hurt.

Gather Knowledge. Next of priority is to gather the knowledge that you need to make a good purchase. This will include looking at the diamond certification, the four Cs (carat, clarity, cut, and color), and the various unbranded versus branded diamonds.

You can find all of this data readily available to you throughout the web. Understanding what these terms mean, as well as being able to spot the diamonds worth is the key to good diamond selection.

Size And Shape Do Matter. Lets face it, she is going to love a bigger diamond a little more. And, the shape of the diamond is also essential. You may need to head off to the jewelry box again to determine what shape she loves, but you can also choose based on what you love too. As for size, make sure that she would be comfortable in a larger sized ring and then purchase accordingly.

It is also substantial to select the diamond that you purchase from a jeweler you can count on. Do you ever feel bombarded by salesmen when you walk into one? A great way to find a beautiful diamond, get only the amount of customer service you want and to get one of the better prices is to shop for that perfect diamond online. Believe it or not, you get better selection and better pricing.

Anniversary Versus Bride To Be

Should there be a difference in the diamond that you select for your anniversary and the one that you gave her as an engagement ring? To this, there is much controversy. In specific traditions, nothing the woman wears should outshine her ring.

But, one way to give her something even more elaborate is to give her an addition to that ring. For example, if she has a single stone ring, as most engagement rings tend to be, then you will be able to have a fitted ring purchase that can be worn next to it and even wrapped around it.

In this case, though, youll need to talk to your jeweler and bring the actual diamond in. So, she may know what you are up to unless you are very covert. (Tell her that her gift is to have it professionally cleaned!)

Selecting the perfect diamond is the ultimate key to a top notch anniversary.

Congratulations on your special day! Visit our site for information on diamond wedding ring sets and anniversary gifts.

Double or triple your time

Why do some say that time is much more important than wealth? Nearly all biographies and self-help books, by top leaders and speakers from the past decades, all focus on time as being the most important resource available. When we manage our use of time, through self-mastery, success is a natural product of that effort. Success becomes the harvest we reap.

Proven Technique Number 1 - Delegate and assign simple routine tasks to other people.

If you have a home business, consider hiring a temp to deal with book entry. Most people don't need a full time employee and the time you save allows you to focus on building your vision. This is very elementary but of great significance. If you have the money, hire people to do the housework, the repairing, and even some of your other office jobs. Let others do the research. But of course, you have to reward them accordingly so they will be motivated to render their services again. There are also web sites dedicated to connecting you with the talent you need to complete projects. Use their skills to fulfill your dreams.

Proven Technique Number 2 - Plan

Begin with the end in mind is a popular phrase and it represents a very important principal. The less time you think you have, the more critical it is for you to plan. By planning carefully, you'll be able to manage your time better and avoid costly mistakes that eat up even more of your time.

Can you imagine an archery competition where there are no targets? How would the archer know if he or she hit anything, or even came close? Too often we treat our lives and our businesses as though the target is unimportant.

You might say that you're so busy you don't even have time to plan. That's usually a sign that you need to take time to plan more than anyone else. The payoff is the ability to see your entire project holistically and see efficiencies in tasks and perhaps areas where you can hire out.

Your plan is like a road map. Spend enough time to ponder through the different approaches and activities, and you will soon realize that you can save a lot more time by doing this. Make sure you are going towards the right goal and check your plan from time to time to make sure you haven't driven off then road.

Choose a quiet place to make your plan and let your mind focus on this important process.

Every individual has a unique perception of a well-made plan. There are no specific rules in making it. Here are some tips which you can apply to your own system.

1. Write down your objective. This is a precise definition of your target.

2. Brainstorm the strategies & tactics you will employ to accomplish your objective.

3. Assess the advantages & disadvantages of carrying out those strategies & choose those tactics where the pros outweigh the cons.

4. Set a timeline or deadline in completing your mission.

5. Make modifications & back-up plans in case Plan A doesn't work.

6. Learn from the evolution of your plan. It's from this experience, and comparison to your original plan, that you will gain skills and talent.

The most important time management tip of all is to take action immediately. If your time is that important, then don't waste it by sitting around or over planning. Determine your course and move. You can always make course corrections as you move along.

The feel of the web

Have you noticed how the feel of the web is changing?

Perhaps you use LinkedIn - linkedin. com – or Jobster - jobster. com – and very probably you have had a look at Google maps - maps. google. com/

If so you cannot but have noticed that these sites and others have a different look and feel. It’s not about but about the way that they seem easier and faster to use.

So many sites are slow and tedious giving you the feeling thatyou have plenty of time to get a coffee or even go to lunch. It's the horrible hourglass. You click a link and the hourglass appears as the site contacts the server and the server thinks about what it's going to send back to you.

There is a reason for the ‘new’ sites being faster and nicer to use. It’s called AJAX.

Not the cleaner invented in 1947 nor the mythical Greek hero but a web development technique.

AJAX is not new technology but a combination of existing mature technologies. It’s an abbreviation for ‘Asynchronous JavaScript and XML’ and a web development technique to make web pages feel more responsive. It does this by exchanging small amounts ofdata with the server behind the scenes and displays it without re-fetching the entire page at the same time, hence the term ‘Asynchronous’.

In case you are not entirely clear what asynchronous means, synchronous means that processes are dependent upon other processes 1 >> 2 >> 3 etc whereas asynchronous is the ability to handle processes independently from other processes.

It might seem that adding a layer to any application will make it less responsive, but because the browser first loads an AJAX engine responsible for both providing the interface the user sees and communicating with the server on the user’s behalf the user is very rarely staring at an hourglass icon waiting around for the serverto do something.

Every user action that normally would generate work on the server goes to the AJAX engine instead. Any response to a user action that doesn’t require a trip back to the server the engine handles on its own. If the engine needs something from the server in order to respond it makes those requests asynchronously without affecting a user’s interaction with the application.

All of this means AJAX is ‘sexy’ just now - a bit like Flash has been. It might be very tempting to use AJAX simply because “AJAX is cool” or “my boss told me to”.

But when you're building any site you should think of your customers first. What do they need this application to do? What will make it easier to use? A good rule of thumb as to whether or not to use AJAX IS: AJAX is for action not content.

If you are not accessing data that changes then you might want to think again. The point of the asynchronous request is that it makes requests to the server for information that has changed faster - because it's happening while the reader is doing something else. Then when they click a link or button data shows up right away. If your content or data never or rarely changes, then you probably shouldn't use Ajax to access it.

Then there are other issues:

Page changes

When an entirely new page is produced there is a brief moment of re-adjustment when the content changes. Because this doesn’t happen with smaller portions of the screen this becomes more apparent. This can leave people wondering.

Search engine optimization

Search engines do not generally read the JavaScript code required for AJAX. This can mean AJAX ‘pages’ remain un-indexed unless a static page is provided.

JavaScript

As AJAX relies on JavaScript, which is implemented differently by different browsers or even different versions of the same browser the JavaScript may have to be rewritten for several browser(s) type(s) though background libraries are resolving this, but an issue still arises if the user has switched off JavaScript support in the browser.

Web analytics

Many web analytics solutions are based on a new page being loaded whenever new or updated content is displayed to the user or to track a process such as a check-out. Since Ajax alters this care must be taken to account for how to ensure a page or a portion of a page can be accurately tracked.

Having written everything above, Google has made a huge investment in developing AJAX sites. All of the major products Google has introduced such as Orkut, Gmail, Google Groups, Google Suggest and Google Maps are AJAX applications.

Then again AJAX [and other terms such as Rich Internet Applications or RIA for tolls such as Flash] are just new terms for a technologies and technology combinations that have been around for years.

Given the hype for these terms, it is sensible not to get carried away. Careful evaluation of when and how to use AJAX is essential.

Don’t forget that Flash and other applications still do not form the basis of most sites and users want usability first. If AJAX enhances the users’ experience whether via design or speed then it’s worth considering – carefully.

Addressing the needs of home-schooled kids

There is a wide variation when it comes to the public opinion on homeschooling. Some are avid supports, while some do not find it in the best interest of children. And to weight out the pros and cons of homeschooling, a list of advantages and disadvantages of this alternative means of education is set up.

Either way, if it is really the best of the learners that is at their supporters and detractors hearts; why not consider what the learner really needs in order to achieve learning success whether in the public and private educational system or through homeschooling.

Taking the side of homeschooling, it is important to evaluate and identify the needs of the children, their interest, the learning methods that best stimulates their curiosity and inquisitiveness. This is the only key to a quality homeschool education - addressing what the homeschooled kid needs.

In homeschooling children, the instructors may be in the form of the parents or a tutor should be able to commit a time for learning. And homeschooling, with all the preparations, will really take up much time. A child will have to be given a strict time schedule for learning, and time for playing as well.

Homeschooled children are criticized to be less sociable individuals. Indeed, socialization is a major factor in developing the personality of a child. Having this in mind, instructors should give attention to the child getting together with other children apart from the home.

All children grow at their own pace. Let kids be kids. Understand that they are experiencing the world for the first time. Get involved and be interested in what interests the child. If it is in the arts and crafts field, then focus on that. Not only will it help the instructor foster rapport with the child, but this will also stimulate and motivate the child to learn new things. Give the child some room to grow and develop on his own with proper guidance.

The effort of homeschooling children will never be too much. It is constant striving to address the children's needs and this will greatly vary as you go along. Children grow and develop, and sooner or later will be interested in new things. And when this time comes, the instructor should always be ready to cater to the children's requirement for learning.

Flying stars fengshui for 2006 yearly analysis remedies for main door facing east

:
(Chinese Solar Year : 04.02.2006 to 03.02.2007)

Flying Stars or Fei Xing is a powerful form of Feng Shui derived from the famous Xuan Kong Fengshui. It is an Analysis of the Five Elements and Star Combinations (representing certain energy patterns) that occupy every building. Each new year these annual stars change, Qi (energy) shifts happen, bringing good and bad energy with them - thereby producing different effects.

In February 2004 all the Feng Shui Energy Patterns underwent huge transformations to the NewAge of Land Luck called Period 8 Energy Cycles. It means that a large scale evolution of the human race with completely new energy dynamics has started. The significance is that the new, vibrant energies of Period 8 impacts on the buildings differently than before and energies that were previously activated now need to be remedied, in order to reduce any bad effects from the past influences.

The Flying Stars Chart or the 9-Grid Meteor Plan for the Bing-Xu, Year of the Yang Red Fire Dog has been plotted and the effects of their energy patterns are analyzed. The analysis also contains suggested remedies/cures for reducing the impact of negative energy and recommended enhancers for increasing and improving upon the beneficial energy.

For the remedies/enhancers to be effective, they should be cleansed, energised, blessed and programmed not only for the particular individual/family but also for the specific purpose/problem. They should also be placed in the indicated location.

The direction in which your main door lies is very important to any form of Geomancy, including Fengshui & Vaastu. The primary reason for this is that the air currents and energy flow in and flow out through the mouth of the main door. Thus you receive positive energy for the year, if the main door faces a direction of auspicious stars or meteors (powerful energy bodies) and receive negative energy for the year, if the main door faces a direction of evil stars or meteors. In case negative impacts are forecast, you can simply offset the negative energy by installing the recommended remedies there. Any or all of these remedies can be reused for the coming years, the only thing is that they should be repositioned according to the new year.

Please note that the effects may be felt in varying degrees depending upon the exact compass degree of the main door.

ANNUAL FORECAST & REMEDIES FOR FLATS/HOMES/OFFICES/FACTORIES WITH MAIN DOOR FACING EAST :

An excellent year that brings you fame and fortune. Your negotiation skills are in their peak. Employees get to have more power, promotions and increments. Patronage of superiors is assured. Businessmen get growth in the form of expansions. It is a lucky year to embark on a new venture too. Your regular customers will bring in more new clients. Frequent travels and overseas posting/business are possible.

Students and those appearing for professional/competitive exams will do good. Sportsmen will perform well. Travelling opportunities will be plenty. If you are in marketing line, show business, tourism; or a lawyer or running a flower shop or nursery, you will flourish more. Money luck and prosperity will be in plenty. Events to celebrate, like marraige, could happen. Place a Fengshui Water Fountain near your entrance to enhance the qi still further. There could be some interpersonal relationship problems among your family members. Growing a potted water plant near your main door will offset it to a certain extent. Excellent love luck in the air. Singles will get ideal partners. Married couple should be wary of love triangles or third party intrusions. Use a brown door mat for the bedroom door, to dissipate extra love luck.

Display the “Safety Talisman for 2006” in the North West sector and carry a miniature version of it always.

Door Mat Colour for the Main Door : Green (on the inside, for love luck, if you need it) and Earth Brown (on the outside).

COMMON MINIMUM REMEDY FOR ALL BUILDINGS FOR 2006 :

To minimise damage due to gossiping and rumours, arguments and disputes, avoid the colours green and blue in the center of your home. Do not place any moving water features like fish aquarium or water fountains here. Display 8 red roses without thorns and leaves in the center of your home/office/building and light up a small red coloured bulb which will burn continuously, 24/7. This is applicable for all buildings, irrespective of the direction of the main doors.

For example, Stanford University's web address is Stanford. edu which authenticates that they are genuine online universities. But the best way to confirm the accreditation of an online college or university is to check with the US Department of Education.

Currently, there are six higher education regional accrediting agencies which are recognized by the U. S. Department of Education. These U. S. regional accrediting agencies are:

  • Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Higher Education

  • New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education

  • North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education

  • Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, Commission on Colleges

  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges

  • Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities

There are also many other national, professional and specialized accrediting bodies that are recognized by the U. S. Department of Education. They provide accreditation, guidance and quality assurance roles for distance and online learning institutions, foreign learning institutions and training providers.

If you are planning to pursue your degree online, spend some time to check and confirm the accreditation of your selected online college or university. And make sure the organization that provides the accreditation to the college is recognized by US Department of Education. Take these precaution steps in advanced are better than regretting it later when you are holding a helpless "fake" degree.

Black lace-a flower that offers beauty and berries

Good design not only makes the inside of your home more lovely, it can also take bloom in your garden. And, since plants cost a fraction of the price of new furniture, outdoor decorating can be a lot easier on the wallet. Here are some ideas you may want to cultivate.

Both interior decorators and landscapers consider size, color and texture. A good place to start is by looking at the size of the space. Dwarf plants are very useful in tight spaces, but can get lost in a lush perennial border. Curb appeal and backyard views also demand something bigger. Every garden needs at least one impressive specimen plant to anchor the landscape.

Think about color. Many people focus on flowers and forget about the months that a plant is not in bloom. Plant breeders have responded to this by producing varieties with colorful foliage for season-long appeal.

Texture is another important design element. Large leaves have big impact, while narrow or cutleaf foliage adds delicate interest to gardens. Fine or cutleaf foliage sways with the wind, a lovely effect.

For example, the new Black Lace sambucus has everything the homeowner needs for stylish outdoor spaces. Dark purple leaves provide interesting color all season long, and are a fantastic combination with popular perennials such as black-eyed susans. Like Japanese maple, its finely cut foliage makes it a choice specimen for entryways and other high-impact areas.

Black Lace offers more than color and texture. Its huge pink spring flowers will produce fall berries for jam or wine, or may be left on the plant for wildlife to enjoy. Like all well-designed products, Black Lace offers both form and function.

Best of all, this new plant is adaptable and easy to grow. It's tolerant of most soils, even soggy ones, and will grow in sun or some shade. Six feet tall at maturity, Black Lace doesn't require pruning, although homeowners can cut it back after blooming if desired. A full-sized mature Black Lace is an impressive specimen for either formal gardens or casual backyard scenes. It can also be grown in a decorative container for the patio or deck.

Plant breeders work hard to develop useful new varieties like Black Lace. The Proven Winners brand carefully selects the most beautiful and easy-to-grow varieties so successful gardening is easy. After all, why should fashionable landscapes be reserved for expert gardeners? The rest of us deserve good design, too. Cold hardy and adaptable, Black Lace will thrive for years. It's an easy way to add durable style to your garden.

So are you ready to bring good design into your garden? It's worth the effort. After all, your yard is the biggest room in your house.

Black Lace is just one of over 50 colorful, easy-to-grow Proven Winners ColorChoice varieties. They're easy to find at your garden center-look for the plants in the white pots.

How the online gambling ban helps al qaeda

Groups like Al Qaeda may very well be using online casinos to raise money for their global Jihad, but does banning online gambling really hurt them. The answer to this question is absolutely not, it actually help them.

The way it helps them is easy to understand. Most of the money spent on online gambling was going to publicly owned British operators, but the online gabling ban passed by the American Congress put a stop to that.

Out of fear of repercussions, as soon as the law was signed these companies sold off all operations dealing with the USA, but online gambling is still going on, so now who is getting the money.

The problem with the Gambling ban is that it does not stop people from gambling online it only stops legitimate operations from getting the money and less reputable ones start getting rich.

It is these small casinos that before went mostly unnoticed, that will now be bringing in the billions that will still be wagered online.

It is also these casinos that have the best chance of being a front for AL Qaeda.

Some so called experts will tell you that this is not true and that it was thru owning shares in these publicly traded online casinos that terrorists were making money, but if they were buying shares of online casinos I am sure they are buying shares of Microsoft and Google. So why not ban them as well?

But once again the American people seem to be getting lied to by their elected Government officials, and it is time that we the people fight back against the government.

It is time we as a nation start to question and demand answers that make sense from them, after all they work for us, don’t they?

If you are tired of all the lies, then there is something you can do.

Jim Nickogoski the creator of the http: myspace. com/angryonlinegambler has started a web page to help fight against the Online Gambling Ban, the page also offers an online petition so you can tell the government you do not agree and you demand they reverse this unfair and unjust law.

The only real way for the government to ensure that money made from online gambling is not going to fund terrorism is to work together with the online casinos to regulate the industry with licensing so you really know who is getting your money. Only then can we be sure none of our money is going to the people killing out troops and threatening the American way of life.

So make your voice herd, write letters to senators, congressmen and even the President. Tell them you disagree with the law and ask them for real proof that this law is really what is best for us.

In the end I am sure the law will be reversed, maybe one day the government will learn what most Americans already know a ban on something never works, even if the government showed proof that online casinos are run by terrorists people would still play in them, just because they are not supposed to be it is just human nature.

Looking for a mortgage

If you are looking for a mortgage, it is important to know what you are looking for, and where to find the right mortgage for you. You should spend time to find the mortgage with the most affordable repayment terms for your financial situation. The rates offered for a mortgage will differ depending on the state you reside in. The rate for a mortgage will also differ when comparing them within the same state.

When looking for a mortgage, it is best to decide between either a fixed rate mortgage, or an adjustable rate mortgage. Either of these two types of mortgages can affect how much you pay back to the mortgage lender. With an adjustable rate mortgage, the amount you pay will depend on the interest rate, and how stable the economy might be. This amount can be either a higher or lower rate depending on what is happening in the financial sector. Keep in mind that if the economy is doing poorly or is well off, this will be reflected in the amount you pay back as well.

A fixed mortgage will remain at the same interest rate throughout the life of the mortgage loan. This might seem like a good idea if you are expecting sudden changes within the economy, affecting the interest rates. However, in the cases when the interest rates drop, and the rate you are paying remains high and the same, then a fixed rate mortgage might not be your best idea after all.

Overall, the Internet is by far the best place to research the different mortgage rates available to anyone wanting to buy a home. The great thing about using the Internet is that you have a choice of any lender, and are not at the mercy of only your local bank. In this way, you are able to spend time researching the best mortgage for you.

Lavender essential oil recipe ideas for the handmade cosmetic crafter

When it comes to manufacturing handmade cosmetics one ingredient no crafter should be without is lavender essential oil. Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) posses antibacterial proprieties, is gentle to both dry and oily skin, and has the ability to relieve such conditions as muscle pain, insomnia, headaches, burns, bug bites, eczema, psoriasis, and acne making it the most versatile of essential oils. It is also one of the few essential oils that can be used as a middle or top note in perfume due to its fresh, floral smell and affordable price.

Here are a few recipe ideas for using lavender in handmade cosmetics:

Salves, Ointments, and Balms: Lavender blended with neem seed oil or comfrey root powder produces a salve that soothes itching caused by insect bites, bruises, burns, and even diaper rash. Add cinnamon and clove for a pain relieving muscle rub ointment. Use lavender by itself as a gardener’s salve to help chapped hands or as a temple balm to aid in falling asleep and to quell headaches.

Hair Care Products: Blend lavender with apple cider vinegar and nettle herbs for a normal-to-dry hair rinse. You can also try combing rosemary, peppermint, and lavender essential oils along with jojoba and oat extract, which produce a very effective scalp oil treatment.

Bath and Body Care Products: Add lavender to toners, facial creams, and body lotions to combat acne or dry skin conditions. Lavender essential oil combined with dried lavender buds, dead sea salt, Epsom salt, and powdered milk make for a lovely bath salt recipe. Blend jojoba with rose geranium, lavender, sandalwood, and vanilla for a sweet and sexy feminine perfume oil.

Soaps: Try adding tea tree and lavender essential oils to opaque melt and pour soap base along with pumice (sprinkled at the bottom of your soap mold) for a deodorizing and exfoliating soap bar.

A word of caution, due to their volatility, research any essential oil, and always do a skin patch test before use.

A guide to dog training

Before starting dog training, it is best that you know your options well. These days you can find many types of dog training, in many different places. These trainings vary in price and each one them has something different to offer.

The first type of dog training is known as puppy preschool. This is a dog training course meant for puppies that are about 6 weeks to 5 months old. These puppy preschool classes generally last for no more than 6 to 8 weeks. In these training sessions, your puppy is essentially taught how to socialize with people and as well as other puppies. Here your puppy also begins to learn how to sit down, stay at a place, and how to come.

The second type of dog training course is meant for the dogs that are at least 5 months old. This type of dog training is known as the basic dog training. The duration of these classes is usually about 8 to 10 weeks. This is the basic course, where your dog is taught the art of walking properly on a leash, sitting, staying, coming and heeling.

The third type of dog training course is known as the intermediate dog training. This dog training aims at teaching the dog mostly the same things that are taught in the basic training course, in a more detailed form. Here the dog is trained to stay for a longer span of time, and is also taught to follow the orders given by other people.

The intermediate dog training generally lasts for about 8 to 10 weeks, and is meant for those that are no less than 5 months old. It is essential for the dog to have completed its basic dog training course, or to be accustomed to the basic commands that could have been taught by the owner.

The next type of training course is known as the advanced dog training course. Here, once again, the course is quite similar to its previous one, i. e., the intermediate dog training course, except for the fact that this time it is more detailed. Here, the dog is taught how to sit even without you in the view.

This training course is about 8 to 10 weeks long, and is meant for those that have completed their intermediate training. Here, they are also trained to walk beside their owners without a leash. Moreover, it gradually prepares the dog to take the Canine Good Citizen training course. The Canine Good Citizen training for dogs is the last course. To pass this course, your dog will be taught the 10 necessary aspects.

This course is strictly meant for those dogs that have completed all the previous courses. The test is quite tough and can only be passed if the dog is really well behaved. Depending on whether your dog can pass, the course can last for several weeks.

Keeping this information in mind, you should be able to decide the dog training course best suited for your dog. However, you may seek the opinion of your local dog trainers to know more. Many trainers consult for free. So now you should be at least a step closer to introducing your dog into a training course!

Never get married because you re in love

I’ll repeat that. Never get married because you’re in love.

Sounds crazy?

It’s not.

Let me tell you why.

Ever been to a single’s bar? Mosey on over to the one nearest you and watch what happens. When a man approaches a woman in a singles’ bar – or a woman approaches a man – they each know exactly one thing about the other: how they look. She’s attracted to him, he’s attracted to her. And that physical chemistry forms the basis of whatever relationship may or may not develop. Now, they may think they’re in love. But in fact, they are simply infatuated with each other.

Here’s one to remember: Chemistry ignites the fire, but character keeps it burning. Chemistry – physical attraction – is not something to be ignored. But a deeply loving relationship based on mutual respect cannot stand on chemistry alone. That can only happen with someone whose character you can value and appreciate.

The best way (actually, the only way) to have a lasting relationship is to really look at the quality of the person you’re dating. That means being on the lookout for specific character traits, both positive and negative. The top four qualities to look for are humility, kindness, responsibility and happiness.

Humility. What is humility? Well, it is not being a doormat. Letting people walk all over you is not necessarily a sign of humility. It’s a sign of weakness.

Humble people are not weak. Humble people want to do the right thing rather than their thing, and that takes a lot of confidence and inner strength.

Someone who is humble will put values above convenience.

They can accept criticism without being defensive, because they’re committed to personal growth rather than to comfort.

A humble person will not get angry easily, because they don’t feel that anybody owes them anything. That’s the reason they also tend not to be materialistic.

Now, you may think that the above description applies only to angels. And it would be a mistake to narrow your search down to someone who has mastered all of the above qualities that go along with humility. Nobody’s perfect. But you should look for someone who values humility and is striving to achieve it. At the very least, ask yourself if the person you’re dating is arrogant. You definitely do not want to marry an arrogant person who feels that people owe him or her the world.

Kindness. Kindness is more than just being a nice person. If you ask most engaged couples if their intended spouse is kind, they’ll probably say yes. But the divorce rate is over 50%. If everybody is so kind, then why is the divorce rate so high? Because although people think that they’re kind, they really lack a depth of kindness.

So, what’s kindness? Being a kind person means being a giver, someone who’s committed to giving pleasure and minimizing other people's pain. If two people like this get married, they are much less likely to suffer serious problems in their relationship. That’s because each one is dedicated to the other’s well-being.

How do you know if someone is truly a kind person? Look at how they treat the other people in their lives. How do they treat their parents, siblings and grandparents? Do they feel a sense of gratitude to their parents? If not, what makes you think they’ll feel any sort of gratitude towards you after you’re married?

Watch how they treat the "little people" towards whom they have no obligations – waiters, busboys, doormen, secretaries. How do they treat their employees? What’s their business reputation like? Are they ruthless?

Does the person you’re dating do volunteer work? If not, do they give charity? If the answer to both questions is no, that isn't a good sign.

Do they drive courteously? What happens when they drink, when they lose control a little bit? How do they act?

Take note of the answers to these questions. Write them down so that you’ll have a whole picture in front of you when you need to make a decision about whether or not to continue a relationship.

Responsibility. First thing, ask yourself: Is this person irresponsible? If the answer is yes, be careful. You do not want to marry an irresponsible person. If your first, off the cuff answer is no, then check them out.

Do they have a stable work history? Do they have stable friendships? Do they have long-term friendships, or do they need to move around a lot?

Ask yourself: Can you rely on this person? Do you feel safe and secure with them? Another good question is to ask yourself is if you can trust what the other person says. Do they stand behind what they say? Do they live up to their commitments?

Happiness. You might be stumped on that one. Since when is happiness a character trait?

That all depends on how you define happiness. A happy person is someone who is basically content, who focuses on what they have, not on what they don’t have.

Life has no guarantees. Anyone can be dealt a hard blow. But a person who is internally happy will be able to get past life’s obstacles, whereas someone who is constantly focused on the negative will have a much harder time. And you want to be married to someone who can smile at life.

So remember: Never get married just because you’re in love - focus on character, not on chemistry. Look for a quality person to share your life with, someone humble, kind, responsible and happy. You deserve no less!

Answers to common questions about a home care agency

Many people unexpectedly find themselves in situations where they need help from child care providers, caregivers, companions, or home health aides. Because most of us don't have experience navigating the realm of domestic professional services, it's often difficult to know where to turn. A good home care agency can be a godsend, providing us with highly qualified assistants and much-needed peace of mind. Here, then, are answers to common questions about a home care agency...

Who Uses a Home Care Agency?

The best home care agencies serve a variety of people, such as professional couples, single parents, retired seniors, the terminally ill, and those who are developmentally or physically challenged.

For example, a professional couple might require the services of a nanny, who can care for their children, as well as do light housework and cook. A single parent may need child care providers who can come in and help when two hands and one heart just aren't enough. A mother who works from home could use a mother's helper to run errands, help with meals, and do the laundry.

For adult children whose parents are infirm, a home health aide can provide respite from the responsibilities associated with caring for elderly parents. For adult children who live a long distance from their parents, having a caregiver can bring peace of mind. And seniors who prefer to live at home rather than in a retirement home or assisted living facility can often use a helping hand.

What Services Does a Home Care Agency Provide?

You can think of a home care agency as a kind of employment agency, in that it provides highly qualified child care providers, nannies, a home health aide, a nurse aide/assistant, and other types of caregivers.

In the realm of health care, assistance can encompass everything from medication supervision to incontinence assistance and from meal planning to accompanying someone to doctors' appointments. Child care can incorporate everything from babysitting to full-time live-in nannies.

A good home care agency provides caregivers for a wide range of needs, including short-term or long-term, part-time or full-time, and live-in or live-out. They should also be able to accommodate your needs in terms of the times of day you need assistance, such as day shifts, swing shifts, or overnight service.

How Do I Know Providers are Qualified?

It's crucial to find a home care agency that has rigorous screening procedures. All home care providers, for example, should have verifiable references, an impeccable background check, a clean driving record, and CPR training. If you need a Certified Nurses' Assistant or a Certified Home Health Aide, the agency should provide you with their credentials.

In addition to the caregiver's qualifications, you should ensure that he or she is a good "fit" with your loved one. Therefore, the home care agency should give you the opportunity to interview several qualified providers, either in your home or in the agency's office. Only when you are comfortable with both the caregiver's qualifications and their personality should you consent to hire him or her.

Online dating services advantages

Tired of the cattle call down at the local bar? Are those supposed “happy hours” enough to make you need to go into therapy? Have you all but given up on finding anyone to date? Then you, my friend, are ready to sign up for an online dating service membership.

Not only does an online dating service offer you the chance to connect with lots of singles that you wouldn’t mind being seen in public with, but that you might also someday be willing to take home to meet Mom. An online dating service definitely expands your dating options and for a fraction of what you’re paying for all those drinks and dry cleaning bills from all those drinks spilled on you costs.

If that isn’t reason enough to move your mouse over to the sign up page of an online dating service, then it may help that online dating services provide you with the opportunity to search for dates anonymously. You don’t have to post a picture of yourself or provide any personal information. This lets you meet people in a totally safe way and puts you in charge of when, and if, you divulge your identity. You can get to know someone first, before deciding whether to show off your gorgeous self or give them your real name.

And now, let’s talk choices. Unless you’re in a large city where there are lots of cool people just like you or that you’d be interested in going out with, your choices for dates may just be a little on the low side. It may be so bad that you’re in the negative figures when it comes to dating choices. Well, you won’t have that problem when you’re a member of an online dating site. Plus you’re not stuck with people just in your area, but you have choices all over the world, people who are looking for long-lasting relationships, just like you.

An online dating service also allows you to be totally secure while making your connections. If anyone ever starts to harass you, make you uncomfortable, or heaven forbid, threatens you, you can report them to the online dating service and likely that person’s membership will be revoked. At the very least, the dating service will block that person from contacting you. If only you could do that with that cretin you knew back in the sixth grade who just will not stop calling you!

Home security tips

There are few things more important to people than the security and protection of their homes and families. When it comes to securing your family you don’t always get a second chance. Lives can change forever in only a split second. Take the time now to take make sure your family is safe and secure in your home in the future.

There are several simple low cost things you can do to make your home more secure from robbery and theft and give your family peace of mind.

Home Security Tip #1

Install adequate lighting outside every entry way. You can pick up motion sensor activated lights at most department and hardware stores for under $20.00. These can be set to cover a fairly large spread. It is recommended that you install lights outside every doorway to the house. If there is a side of the house that tends to be very dark it might be a good idea to install a light there as well to prevent concealment in the shadows.

Home Security Tip #2

If you have a privacy fence around your property this can give the feeling of security but this is not necessarily the case. Security fences can actually provide a safe opportunity for a thief to work his way into your home. Once inside the perimeter of the fence the thief can work on entry to your home without being seen by neighbors or people passing by. Install motioned sensor controlled security lights outside within the fenced area. If there is a gate to the fenced in area make sure if has a secure locking mechanism.

Home Security Tip #3

Install deadbolt locks on every door leading to the outside. The types of locks which have a key in the door knob will not successfully secure a door against a thief or criminal.

Home Security Tip #4

Criminals are less likely to enter through a window because of the noise that breaking glass tends to make. Nevertheless, keep all windows locked at all times. One of the best ways to secure your windows is with glazing. Glazing protects windows against breakage.

Home Security Tip #5

A home security alarm system, which is monitored 24 hours per day, can provide peace of mind around the clock. Alarm systems are always on duty and never sleep. If you shop around you can often find specials which include free equipment and installation in exchange for a two or three year commitment. If you decide to have an alarm system installed go with a company with a solid history that you can count on. Be sure to test your system on a regular basis. Monitored alarm systems will also sometimes reduce your yearly homeowners insurance premiums. This savings alone might pay for the alarm system.

By taking these simple steps you can decrease your chances of being the victim of a crime while providing your family with a greater sense of security.

The ranking of bragg hands

In this article I describe how the ranking works for different hands in the card game bragg. There are a number of different versions of bragg and I will describe the most popular version here. I will start with the highest rank of hand and will also include the probability of obtaining each hand and the amount of possible combinations for each hand.

A prial

A prial is where you have three cards of the same number or rank.

The highest prial is actually a prial of threes, where most people would presume it would be a prial of aces. The prial of aces is the second highest rank of prial and a prial of twos

is the lowest rank.

There are fifty-two possible combinations of prial and the probability of being dealt this hand is 0.24%.

Running flush

A running flush is where you have three cards of the same suit in a sequence.

Unlike in poker where ace, two, three, four, five would be classed as the lowest rank of running flush, in bragg ace, two, three is the highest. This is followed by ace, king, queen, and four, three, two is the lowest.

There are forty-eight possible combinations of running flush and the probability of being dealt this hand is 0.22%.

These figures of probability and possible combinations are actually quite strange as it shows that it is slightly easier to obtain a prial than a running flush. You would therefore think that the royal flush would be the highest rank of hand in bragg, but of course, as already explained it isn't.

A Run

A run is where you have three cards which are not all of the same suit in a sequence.

As with the royal flush ace, two, three is the highest rank of run, followed by ace, king, queen. Four, three, two is the lowest rank of run.

There are seven hundred and twenty possible combinations of run and the probability of being dealt this hand is 3.26%.

Flush

This is where you have three cards of the same suit which are not in a sequence.

As in poker the highest rank of flush will have an ace in. If two people on the table have an ace flush, it is then decided who wins by the rank of the second highest card. At times people have the same rank of highest and second highest card, at this point the rank of the lowest card comes into play. For example player one has ace of clubs, queen of clubs and five of clubs. Player two has ace of spades, queen of spades and four of spades. In this example player one would win.

There are one thousand and ninety-six possible combinations of flush and the probability of being dealt this hand is 4.96%.

Pair

This is where you have a pair of the same rank with a spare card. Where two people on the table have a pair, it is the player with the highest rank of pair which wins. If both players have the same rank of pair, the one with the highest rank of its spare card wins.

Strangely enough over ninety percent of hands are no higher in rank than a pair.

There are three thousand, seven hundred and forty-four possible combinations of pair and the probability of being dealt this hand is 16.94%.

High card

This is where you have no combinations and basically just have a high card. The highest rank of card in this situation would be the ace and the lowest a two.

There are sixteen thousand, four hundred and forty possible combinations of high card and the probability of being dealt this hand is 74.39%.

As you can see it is not easy to obtain a decent hand in bragg and in fact most hands which are dealt are pretty rubbish. This is why it is such a great game for people who like to bluff.

Bragg is a very popular game in social clubs and card schools up and down the country and is an ancestor to poker.

As well as three card bragg, people also play a seven and nine card version.

Examining online stock investing

The stock market can be traced back to the late 1700s, in the infancy of the United States. Beginning in Philadelphia, the first American stock exchanged was founded in order to bolster commerce in this new world. Before long the New York Stock Exchange was born which soon gave rise to the New York Stock and Exchange Board which led the now frenetic pace that exists today on Wall Street.

In buying a stock, an investor becomes a shareholder - or part owner - in a company. The company then uses the money supplied by their investors to further their business and increase profits. These profits are reflected in the growing price of the stock - the money needed to purchase a share of the company. Investors who now own stock in the company have seen their investment grow and should they now decide to sell this particular stock they will make more money than they originally paid for it.

This is the basic premise behind the stock market. For many generations, the stock exchange was a brick and mortar world in which investors operated through their stock brokers - professionals who would "broker" a deal between the company that was selling stock and their investor who wanted to buy it. In today's world, however, finance is conducted very differently; through a vast network of worldwide computers that act as a facilitator to online stock investing.

Online stock investing offers consumers the opportunity to establish an account right on the Internet through any one of the online brokerage houses in existence today. It is of the utmost importance to choose a reputable brokerage company with which to work; some of the more popular companies such as Ameritrade and ETrade Financial have earned superior reputations in the industry.

Once a relationship with a reputable brokerage company is established, online stock investing first requires setting up an online account through the company. You can then build your portfolio, set financial goals, and buy and sell stocks through the site. Some of the benefits available to those who invest in this manner, include immediate access to their account profile online, up-to-the-minute stock quotes, and research and information regarding companies and the stock they offer.

Some of the other significant benefits to online stock investing include low broker's fees. While traditional brokerage fees can be on the pricey side, online stock investing generally costs the online investor $7 to $10 per trade. Online stock investing also provides the investor with greater control over their portfolio; the buying and selling of stock is completely dependent upon the investor’s decision.

The online tools provided by the brokerage company allow the investor to chart the course of stocks of interest and review the most comprehensive information available. Of course, the most obvious benefit of online stock investing is its convenience; investing can be done right in the home – saving time and money.

The world of trading stock has changed; and stock brokers and investors alike must keep pace in this new financial world. Online stock investing is the present - and stands to be the future - of trading stock.

When it snows, it is the worst time for men folk of the house. (I know, I know, it is not politically correct to say this, but give that guy some credit) while the government and municipal corporations try to keep the highways and streets clear of snow. The snow removal from the front of the house to the gate is the family responsibility. To ease this work we have snow throwers that can do your job in a jiffy, allowing you to go back into the house quickly.

Single Stage Snow Throwers Are Gas Engine Operated

A snow thrower can be single stage or two stages. A single stage snow thrower has an auger made out of combination of metal and plastic or hard rubber. The Engine drives an auger through a series of gears. This auger cuts through the thick coat of ice by chipping, collects it, and then directs it out of the machine with some force. This way the ice on the ground is cleared from the driveway. In a single stage thrower, the machine is self-propelling as it rides on snow. Single stage machine clear a width of 12? to 22? and multiple passes are required to clear the snow in the driveway.

A Two-stage Machine Is More Powerful

A two-stage machine has a pump in addition to the auger in a single stage machine. The ice churned by auger is sent to pump. Additional force imparted to snow by the pump makes it possible for the machine to throw the cleared snow to greater distance. Distance can be up to 45? in some cases. Children enjoy this and with a double throw machine, laughter of children comes free. (Keep your children out of the landing place of snow) This makes the work of clearing snow easy and enjoyable. Double stage machines clear the width of 2? to 3? in one pass and this reduces time required for clearing

Tricks For Removing Snow Easily.

The snow can be cleared easily by sprinkling salt over the snow. (Check with authorities though, before sprinkling salt on snow to check if it is permitted).

When you go out in the snow for clearing it, use layered clothing instead of a single layer of thick clothing.

Take precaution, and do not to slip on the hard snow. There is a possibility of landing on the head. Use spiked shoes if possible.

A few tips for blackjack

When I first started showing interest a few years back in playing blackjack, a friend of mine gave me a list of tips and unofficial personal rules; where he got them from I have no idea, but I more or less stuck to them and they served me well, so I figured the time has come to share the wisdom a little.

Choose a low minimum bet table: 5% of your bankroll is around the max that you want to be betting per hand, so playing at a table with a minimum that exceeds that percentage is asking for trouble. The danger is that with a high minimum table you run the risk of loosing your bankroll before without opportunities to regain lost revenue.

Never split 10s: it may be tempting to play the two hands, but 20 isn't far off from 21, so be happy with what you have!

5s Never, 8s Always: a pair of 5s should never be split but a pair of 8s should be split in all circumstances except for when the dealer is showing a 10.

Always split Aces: getting a blackjack is, as they say, the name of the game, so splitting aces gives you two chances to do just that.

Stick on 17; no matter what your gut says, just stick with what you have. Bear in mind that the dealer has to stick on 17, plus if you think even for a second about the number of cards in the deck and how much they add up to you will soon realize that the chances of getting a 4 or less are much lower than the chances of getting a 5 or more - just don't do it!

The fewer decks in use the better the odds are for the player; the biggest leap in the house advantage is between one and two decks, but it does rise, all be it less steeply, with every deck added. Therefore, in a choice between a single deck and multi deck game, always go for the single deck; in a choice between a 6 deck game and an 8 deck game, always go for the 6 deck.

Rules vary from table to table, so the more player-friendly rules a table plays by the better it is for you. Specific rules to look out for are, the surrender rule; double down after splitting pairs; multiple pair splitting; and ace re-splits.

Remember that you're only opponent is the dealer, so don't look at anyone else's hand, it's not your business and it will distract you from your game.

The rest of the advice I received was basic common sense and money management; don't bet anything you're not prepared to loose, set limits, don't gamble when drunk, you know the type. Anyway, I hope these tips will be as useful to you as they were to me.

Wedding bands - various purchasing options how to save big bucks

They are the sign of eternal love and their endless circle symbolizes a never-ending bond. Wedding bands are most commonly made of precious metals, including gold or silver. Wedding bands are worn on the ring finger of the left had because, as rumor has it, the left hand is closer to the heart.

Although a plain yellow gold band is the most popular, wedding bands are designed in a variety of various gold colors and designs. Some feature diamonds while others are done in solid white or rose gold. For the newlyweds on a budget, or for those who simply do not want to spend a fortune on jewelry, sterling silver wedding bands may be the economical choice.

So, just what is the difference between gold and sterling silver if they are both precious metals? Gold is a metal that is designed to last a lifetime with very little maintenance and never tarnishes. Sterling silver, also classified as a precious metal, is also designed to last but will require frequent polishing in order to maintain it’s shine. Sterling silver is much more affordable than gold, but is so because of the regular maintenance required. If left unpolished, sterling silver will lose it’s luster when exposed to light or the open air for lengthy periods.

When selecting wedding bands, it is very important that both the bride and groom be fitted to ensure the proper ring size. It is also important to note that various ring types may fit differently depending upon the band width. Wedding bands that are slim in their design will fit more true to size than one with a thicker width. Rings that are wide or especially thick will fit more snugly and often requires that the wearer move up to the next size.

During a customary American wedding ceremony, wedding bands are exchanged immediately following the wedding vows. It is expected that the groom place the wedding band on the ring finger of the bride and the bride does the same for the groom.

A final thought to consider when selecting wedding bands is to make sure that it is a design that both the bride and groom are happy with because these rings will be with them for many years to come. If the couple does their research, wedding bands can be found at a very affordable price. Jewelry store sales, internet specialty shops and online auctions are just a few of the ways that the newlywed couple can find a terrific deal on wedding bands and use the money that they saved to help plan the perfect honeymoon.

Diamond wedding ring guide tips and advice for choosing your ring

One activity that you will undoubtedly appreciate when preparing for your wedding ceremony is the wedding ring selection. Like most young girls, you have probably spent most of your life dreaming of the perfect diamond wedding ring. Hopefully, you and your fiancй have decided to shop for rings together, or you have informed him of what you like. You will wear the wedding ring for a significant amount of time and it only makes sense that it's something that you like. If your knowledge of diamond wedding rings is limited to size, it's a good idea that you obtain more information before you make your wedding ring selection.

Loose or Set

When most people think of a diamond wedding ring, they often think of a stone that is already set or mounted. You can actually buy a diamond only and choose a setting later. The intelligence in doing so is cost. When you shop for loose diamonds you will notice that diamonds are available in various sizes, including oval, round, and marquise. If you don't have a personal preference for a certain style, you might want to consider your hands. Certain styles complement certain types of hands. A good guide is to match the shape of the diamond to the hand. Do you have long, narrow fingers? An oval-shaped diamond or similar elongated style diamond for your wedding ring would probably work for you. Round diamonds are considered a good choice for most hands.

The Perfect Setting

Something else to consider when shopping for a wedding ring is the setting. Do you choose platinum or yellow or white gold? Yellow gold is the setting that most people choose for their wedding ring. It is typically less expensive than platinum or white gold. If you choose a yellow gold wedding ring, be careful that you don't choose a higher quality just because you think it is better. As the quality of yellow gold goes up, the softer the metal becomes. A wedding ring set in 24k gold will be less resilient to scratches than a ring that is set in 14k gold. Platinum is by far the most expensive and most durable of the trio. White gold is a good choice for a wedding ring setting if versatility is important to you. White gold tends to go with everything.

White diamonds are by far the most popular. Did you know that you could buy a pink diamond? Diamonds are available in other colors, but these are typically more expensive. Second to the classic white diamond is the yellow diamond. When shopping for your wedding ring you will actually find more of these than any other color of diamond.

Considering Cost

Your budget probably carries the most weight in your wedding ring selection. A wedding ring featuring a diamond can cost as little as $100 and as much as $1,000,000. In general, the amount of money you can expect to pay for a diamond wedding ring will vary according to the type of stone and the setting. The more carats a wedding ring has the more it will cost. Diamonds set in platinum will cost you the most, while you will spend very little on a wedding ring set in 14-carat gold. You can balance the cost by buying a wedding ring with a high number of carats and set in a less expensive setting.

Top 5 tips for buying a used car

While you can get a great bargain by purchasing a second hand car you can also get nothing more than an old banger if you don’t take care. When it comes to purchasing a second hand car from a private dealer there are different rules than if you bought from an established dealer. One of the biggest differences are your consumer rights - or lack of them.

While there are many honest and trustworthy people out there selling used cars there are also some “dodgy” characters and of course sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. One of the best tips when buying a car from a private dealer is to pay a small fee to have a car data check carried out. This will check such things as the previous owner of the car, mileage data associated with the vehicle and if there are any problems relating to finance or insurance.

When going to look at a second hand car sold by a private buyer you should consider taking someone with you who knows about cars. If you don’t have someone who knows enough about cars and what to look for when buying second hand then it could save you money and heartache in the long run if you were to pay a mechanic to go and look over the car with you before committing yourself to purchasing it.

When buying privately make sure that you learn as much as you can about the make and model of the particular car that you are going to look over. Do an online search through used cars for the model and make sure that you have a very good idea of what that particular make and model is selling for.

When buying privately always make sure that you go and look over the car in daylight. If the seller is wary of letting you do this then it is very likely that they have something to hide. The seller should be able to answer all your questions willingly about the history of the car. If they tell you they don’t know or are unsure because they are selling the car for a friend or relative then you should stay clear and look elsewhere. They should also be able to provide you with all the necessary documentation relating to the cars history.

If you are buying from a dealer then be aware of all the added extras which they could try to entice you with and ask yourself if you really need them. Also be careful when it comes to taking any payment protection insurance associated with any car finance through them as this can boost the price up drastically of the car.

Procrastinators anonymous paa

As you probably have already guessed, I have a problem. I am seriously battling with procrastination and I think I’m doing very well so far. You see, the good news is that I am not ashamed or too afraid to admit it, and neither should you be. I bet you’re saying to yourself right now, “I don’t have a problem.” Well I am here to tell you that there is hope for you. We will overcome this, together, but the first step towards recovery is being able to admit the problem. To make it a little bit easier for you, I will go first—‘Hi, my name is Siobhan and I am a procrastinator.’ You see, that wasn’t so bad. So, are you ready to admit that you should be doing something else right now besides reading this? Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us; literally.

Wouldn’t that be something if there really was a Procrastinators Anonymous Association (PAA)? The thought sounds good, but I’m not too sure about how good of an idea it would be to actually start one. I can already foresee a few hurdles with having a PAA; for one, members may keep postponing the meetings for no apparent reason. Another thing is there would probably not be enough room to hold almost every single person in the world. Let’s face it, we all procrastinate. As a matter of fact, we are all experts at it and lucky for us it isn’t as bad as is made out to be.

As a writer, procrastination gives me a chance to think about my book while I’m doing something else in place of writing it. What better way is there to make use of all that time other than using it to contemplate new ideas, fine tune details, and get everything just right before I actually sit down to write? I once read somewhere that the biggest procrastinators tend to be very creative and intelligent. I am in no way making excuses for my procrastination; instead, learned to just appreciate and accept it.

It may sound crazy but I believe that the rest of the world also loves it when I procrastinate. Suddenly, everyone seems to get my undivided attention. My dog gets walked for a few extra minutes, phone calls get answered, and even missed calls get returned. It also seems to be the times when my stomach talks to me more than usual and the best songs come on the radio that I just can’t resist singing along to. The even crazier thing about it is I only procrastinate like this when it comes to writing. I don’t know why I do it, but it always seems to happen. I became curious and asked some other writers, artists and creative people if they experience anything similar. To my surprise, I was not alone. That is when I decided to write off my procrastinating tendencies as a trait that all writers and artistic people are just born with.

As a person who thirsts for knowledge, I did some research and found out that writers are known to procrastinate. Many well known writers are considered to be some of the biggest procrastinators. Inspiring isn’t it? If you really think about it, procrastinating can indeed be useful and necessary at times because it allows the writer to let go. Sometimes when you hold on to an idea too tight or try to force creativity, it seems to pack up and take a vacation somewhere, leaving you frustrated. But when you just let it go, it comes to you as naturally as feeling the warm sun against your skin. It’s no different than trying to remember that name that on the tip of your tongue. As long as you spend wrecking your brain trying to remember it, it never comes; but the second you stop trying and just let it go, doesn’t the name blurt out of your mouth as if you weren’t even trying to remember it in the first place? Some things are just unexplainably strange.

So now that I have admit my problem, which in essence has turned out to be not much of a problem at all, can you admit to being a procrastinator and accept the rewards and benefits that come with resourcefully killing time? I know one thing; it may have taken me 20 hours to write something that could have possibly been done in less than an hour, but who is to say that I would have came to these conclusions that fast? I want to give a special thanks to those four chocolate chip cookies that I ate, the glass of milk that helped wash it down, my supposedly housebroken dog for making “mess” on the floor, and my computer for acting up and erasing those much needed files. I am a procrastinator par excellence.

Clutter quickly grows with procrastination...and even kills

The most common problem most people have with getting rid of clutter and getting organized is not knowing how to begin or where to get started.

So it gets put off until...later.

Of course, the reasons are usually decent.

For one, there's a lot going on in our lives. We go in so many directions and there never seems to be enough time to get anything done.

And it's easier to put organizing off because you think it'll take up too much time right now.

The other priorities -- like eating and sleeping (minor things, right?) of course take first on the list.

But getting organized doesn't have to take a lot of time every single day.

And if you don't start getting organized, even just a little bit at a time, there are some very real negative affects that, well, could kill you.

A little drastic... I know.

But the affect clutter and disorganization has on your health is very, very real.

It adds stress to your already busy life.

It sucks away your energy and makes you tired.

In many people, it increases the symptoms of depression.

But enough of the negative stuff!

Here's how we can benefit from being organized and getting rid of clutter...

- More sleep.

- A better mood every day.

- Better relationships.

- Easier house management.

- Your bills get paid on time.

- More space.

- More time to do things you actually enjoy!

This is all very real stuff and getting organized should not be put on the back burner any longer.

But I know...it's still too easy to put it off for "later."

I will admit, the here and now makes it easier to pile things on the counter, on chairs and tables or toss things in closets and drawers.

It's too easy to put things down and ignore my simple and important rule of "touch it once."

Though, like I said earlier...clutter can be deadly.

No joke.

Back in January of this year a 62 year old woman from Washington was found dead under nearly six feet of dishes, boxes and "clutter" that apparantly collapsed on her.

A very sad, and very drastic story.

Take this poor woman's life back about thirty years. How many days went by when she procrastinated and said she would "get to it tomorrow."

Now I hope your situation is not as drastic but reality is reality. And unless you get things under control right away, you just don't know what a disorganized house can lead to.

At the very least I bet you're feeling stressed and a little frustrated with a real desire to simplify your life at home.

It's not a lot to ask, is it?

And we all know stress is not good.

But maybe your situation isn't so out-of-control, and you just want to get rid of clutter and get your things in order.

Or you need to manage papers better because once in a while you forget to pay a bill that was sitting somewhere in a pile (because you don't have a real system for your bills -- which you need.)

No big deal, right?

After all, what's a $5 payment here or a $35 late fee there?

It adds up.

So how 'bout you take a step towards ending clutter in your home and getting organized...before it kills you?
